Movie producer Joseph M. Schenck built the Talmadge in 1922 as a present for his wife, silent screen actress Norma Talmadge. The couple spared no expenses to build what was to be considered the finest apartment building on the West coast.
Located in the Mid-Wilshire District between the original Bullocks Wilshire and the Ambassador Hotel, the Talmadge offers spectacular hardwood floor apartments, with Maids, Butler’s quarters and service elevators.
